Like a cat

There are such people that take after some animals. You know, there are people that are just as loyal as dogs are and there are also people that are just as hardworking creatures as horses are. And there are people that took a lot after the cats. People say that when in womb we undergo all those steps and levels of evolution and there are also animals’ steps or animal level and I guess there are people that stay there for too long and they take a lot after some animal. And those people that took a lot after a cat they are lonely people. Though, they are lonely not because they are abandoned or something but because they need no one in this life and they are happy all alone, just like cats. They never care about other people and their opinion about them just like cats don’t. And these people never feel they own something to other people and they take the adoration of others for granted, though they also care not about that adoration. In case they will lose it they will still feel the same way there are felling right now. They are lonely people that never show their real feelings.

Domesticated cats

Cats used to be wild and they were living in the wild. But then people came and they thought it will be great to domesticate cats and they did. So, though, I can’t see a reason for people to domesticate cats. I mean a lot of animals were domesticated by people. Humanity domesticated camels and there is a reason for it, people needed camels as transport and food and on other purposes. And the same is true with horses and so on. And I see a reason for people to domesticated dogs, they needed creature that would protect their houses from strangers and so on. But, there is no reason for people to domesticate cats. There is nothing that cats do and there is no use of them but still for some reason people brought those to their homes and made them stay. So, I guess there is indeed something special and mystical about cats, they still leave in our homes and those are the most popular and favorite pets and this is the way it will always be. So, what is the reason for people to love cats and to have cats at home and what was the reason for people to domesticate those?

Where to Get Cats as Pets

If you’ve decided that cats are the pet for you, then you need to decide what kind of cat you want to get, and how you want to find it. The main choice is between purchasing a cats bred for sale or adopting cats that need a home, usually from some sort of shelter.

While many people opt for pure-bred cats, usually as a status symbol, giving a home to cats in need is a good choice. These cats may be strays, come from abusive homes, or were given up by previous owners. Shelters are usually overloaded and can’t take care of all the animals they take in, which means many animals are put to sleep while people choose instead to buy pure-bred cats and dogs.

There are several concerns that people have with choosing animals from a shelter. First, these animals may have bad personalities because of previous abuse or being used to life as strays. It’s possible that some shelter cats may be difficult to take as pets, and for these (particularly older cats), the person adopting the animal should be skilled with cats, patient, and know what they are getting into.

Still, many shelter cats make well-adjusted pets. Shelters that have younger cats or kittens available offer a good compromise, especially for families with children where it is very important to adopt cats with good behavior. Shelter cats aren’t necessarily mean, and are a more ethical and much cheaper option. Besides, pure-bred animals tend to be more prone to illness, while cats adopted from a shelter may be healthier and live longer.

Feline Friends

Since cats hate water it would make sense that few people realize just how awesome our feline friends are as company for long sailing excursions. Cats on boats are about as natural as salt is to seawater. Cats are generally very much in tune with the fact that they are surrounded by water and they rarely, if ever misstep. While there have been a few circumstances when cats have become victims of the sea, their numbers are far fewer than humans. Cats are generally quite adept on board and they are easier to care for than their canine counterparts. Their litter can easily be dealt with during long sailing stints and their general desire to hide during bad weather keeps them safe.

Cats adapt very well to their sea legs, and often understand quickly that this little cabin is their home away from home. While there are serious and strict regulations regarding the introduction of cats to certain areas of the world, most of the time customs will allow cats on boats to enter a country provided that the cat does not leave the boat. Why would your cat leave the boat when there is water between the boat and land? The only exception to this is if your cat requires medical care during a stay overseas. You can get into quite a bit of trouble by bringing your cat in, although if it is very ill and he never touches the ground many officials will turn a blind eye. The only exception to this notion is the lovely state of Hawaii, the one state that doesn’t carry rabies and won’t because they require a four month quarantine for any animal coming into the state. Cats on board aren’t quite so welcome here.

Cats’ Breeds: Abyssinians

Abyssinian cats are considered to be one of the oldest known breeds of cats. They have a distinctive bright color that distinguishes them from many other breeds. Abyssinian’s appearance is characterized by exclusive proportionality, correct and smooth shapes. It has a wedge-shaped average-sized head without a hint at flatness, big ears, big expressive eyes, a profile of one smooth line that starts with a smooth recovery from nose to the forehead, continues up through a slightly convex skull to the neck and a smooth transition in slender curved neck, creating the impression of harmony. The body is slightly elongated, flexible and slender, with good muscle, bone thin, elegant elongated limbs, small and delicate paws proportionally long tail, broad at the base and reduce to an end.
The history of the breed of origin is unclear and controversial. The most popular theory says that Abyssinians are descendants of the sacred cats of ancient Egypt, and that this breed is displayed in the sculptures and frescoes. According to another version that Arabs domesticated wild desert cats south-east Asia, which also has no evidence.
First Abyssinians were imported to England from Ethiopia presumably (formerly Abyssinia) around 1860 and emerged as a breed by the end of 19 century. In America the first Abyssinians hit in the early 20 century, but before the 30s of the best producers exported from England. From 50’s rock has become increasingly popular in the world today is one of the most prominent shorthaired breeds of cats.
The breed is recognized by all organizations in the four major colors. The other colors are recognized priority organizations.
